Last Days in the USA: Boston and Florida
Our last four weeks in the US were spent in downtown Boston…
…and for a few days in Florida at Randy's Mom and his aunt.

We stayed at several different locations in Boston like the South End, Seaport and Financial District.
We always rushed in and out of Boston, but now experienced it differently than before.
We had the opportunity and time to explore new corners by foot and during all times of the day and night.

While walking all over the place we discovered new restaurants, like our new favorite place, Mariel.
What a discovery! We loved this restaurant at Post Office Square for lunch and for dinner.
Our last 4th of July!

Some of our last cherished memories of Boston in photos. We discovered that the most beautiful time of the day was at sunset - always right before it gets dark.
We had a great time staying in the South End with so many excellent restaurants within a short walking distance, an experience we lacked while living in Newton.
Our friends Paula and Doug organized a wonderful bon-voyage party and we said good-bye to relatives, Randy's co-workers and many many friends, having last lunches or dinners together.
What an amazing group of friends we have!
Having no more belongings, we are off to new continents with only a few suitcases.
One suitcase for Europe, one for Asia, one carry-on and one back-pack for each of us - that's it
… and we are off!
